Worst Work Event - was hired for a new company which went nowhere

Started to play drums again after a 2 year break
I´ve met some new nice people, including my gf
I bought myself a new drumset

Worsts

My friend died
I lost my job (well both good and bad)
Been sick alot

Bests: My band project getting started!!! , a load of good
new albums (Opeth, Katatonia, Emperor, Borknagar, Witchery...),
getting thru the army...

Worsts: The rmy in a way...

Best Purchase: My first car - '93 Plymouth Acclaim haha!
Best Visit: to an old friend's place. hadn't seen her for awhile 'cause she's away at university
Best Attitude Change: "I can have fun, too!" i go out to clubs and stuff, have lots of fun now


Worst Realization: the relationship i was in was going nowhere - had been with him for 2 years, and i loved him but i couldn't imagine making a it a lifetime.
Worst Realization (2): I hate accounting (bad, because it's what i'm in school for!)
Worst New Addiction: Dance music... i'm sorry, but ya need dance music to go dancing, right?

and just think if it had been you, how much worse it would've been.

actually, just a random story here -- i took a train to chicago with my mom one year because she hates flying. and the toilet in our tiny little sleeper car would spray its contents everywhere whenever we flushed it. oh my god, it was disgusting. also, i had the top bunk, and i actually fell out of the bed, hitting my head on that damn toilet, when we went around a steep curve. train ride from HELL.

and traveled to a town in nothern greece for the first time in my life : )

worsts
I had an awful summer
The father of a friend of mine died and she still doesn't seem to feel so well
Lost contact with my best friend..this was very sad,but i could no longer stand seeing him changing into "proud greek" and offending everyone....

BEST UHHH THING: After over 10 years of playing guitar and always working hard i FINALLY got a proper band together, and it was completely out of the blue!
BEST ERRRR THING: Computer/Internet/Internet Friends/Opeth Board/etc.... all been pretty important this year
BEST UMMM THING: Partly ties in with the above, but deserves its own thing......... Was finally able to talk to someone about 'me'. About what really goes on in my head and shit. Let out a LOT of stress.


WORST EHHH THING: Screwing up a few situations that could have been really good for me.
WORST GRRR THING: Drifted away from a few long time friends.
WORST HMMM THING: Hmmmm.....
