Or the latest beautiful acoustic you've heard, by metal/folk/ambient bands, you name it.

I've been listening to a lot of The White EP, one of the main parts that catches me is the outro on "Birch White".

The white was made to be listened to in a forest.

damn straight. I played that EP on the way back from Ellicottville, NY (a hilly, woodsy area in western NY) at the peak of autumn...it was the prefect soundtrack. This is how my friend, not a metal fan, got into Agalloch. They are an enchanting band.

The Bones of Babydolls, by Acid Bath, is a great acoustic song. In fact, Dax Riggs has some good solo acoustic music as well.

I, also, really love the acoustic works of Agalloch and Ulver.

Every song from Ulver's "Kveldssanger".

Definitely.

Nice.

I'd say some of mine are:
Amorphis- Enigma
Blind Guardian- Lord of the Rings
Empyrium- Where At Night the Wood Grouse Plays (whole album)
Kiuas- After the Storm
Suidakra- The Ember Died (pt. II)
