I like "Left Hand Path" by Entombed, but I've always considered them more Death Metal than Doom Metal. Its an absolutely killer album, check it out.

Best doom metal album would for me would have to be My Dying Bride's "Angel and the Dark River", then Anathema's "The Silent Enigma".

But I think Anathema's "Judgement" is by far their best.

Esoteric are an awesome band. I can get totally absorbed in their music if I lay down at night and throw on the headphones. Their name suits them well.

ELECTRIC WIZARD - Supercoven

I've always quite liked the Wizard. They had that kind of grimy, occult/narcotic nightmare feel that I always want from a doom disc. Like a suicidal Black Sabbath on the worst trip in the history of drugs.
