I started reading the first page and thoguht that this thread was to make fictional Megadeth stories
I saw a Flash video for BLind Guardian - a bards song (in the forest), at my friends house. I heard the song and was liek HOLY MOTHER OF FUCK HTIS IS AMAZING, because I'm a gigantic fantasy/scifi/watever geek. After that, researched the shit out of it, bought Nightfall in Middle Earth, and Burzum/Aske (clearly simuler albums) and the rest is history.

No, Jethro Tull was 1988, beating out And Justice For All. Nothing else says "I have no clue" quite so well (referring to the grammy awards people).
