Your top five vocals...

Katatonica said:
Bjork, Jonas Renkse, Victoria Lloyd (claire voyant), Regina Sosinski (mira), Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil)... yeah female vocals rock

:D I know you didn't mean it, but female vocals, with Renkse on the list. Cracked me up... Feeling a bit retarded though...

Lets see.

1. Stanne (Dark Tranquillity)
2. Jarwa (Ex-Sentenced, The Black League)
3. Maynard (Tool)

And in random order:

Laihiala (Sentenced)
Åkerfeldt (Opeth)
Dolving (The Haunted)
Renkse (K)
Ike Vil (Babylon Whores)

Somethin' like that. Maybe. Makes a bit more than five...

Jonas Renkse (Katatonia)
Carmelo Orlando (Novembre)
Vincent Cavanagh (Anathema)
Kristopher Rygg (Arcturus/Ulver)
Steve Wilson (Porcupine Tree/Blackfield)

jonas renkse
chino moreno
kurt cobain
mikael åkerfeledt
james hetfield (master of puppets)

Not in order

1. Jonas Renkse (Katatonia)
2. Vincent Cavanagh (Anathema)
3. Aaron Stainthorpe (My Dying Bride)
4. Heri Joenson (Tyr)
5. Liv Kristine (Theatre of Tragedy/Leaves Eyes)

Jonas (Katatonia)
Erin (Autumn's Grey Solace)
Sam (Black Tape For A Blue Girl)
Ghaal (Gorgoroth)
Nocturno Culto (Darkthrone)

In a way, I kind of like it how there's an Ultimate Metal 'scene'. Everyone loves Katatonia, Opeth, Bloodbath, Swano, Novembre etc. I wish more of the metal scene in general would recognise some of these bands!

Interesting ^^

Male singers:
- Jonas Renkse
- Nicke Borg (Backyard Babies *hehe*)
- Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity)
- Juha Kylmänen (For My Pain / Reflexion...)
- Mika Tauriainen (Entwine)

Females:
- Henriette Bordvik (ex-Sirenia) v.v"
- Gunnhild Sundli (Gåte) @Hypnos: ;D
- Lisa Johansson (Draconian)
- Chibi (The Birthday Massacre)
- Sonja Stöbling (ex-Advocatus Diaboli)

I agree with the most who have already posted below me

Jonas Renkse
Warrel Dane [Nevermore]
Mikael Stanne [Dark Tranquillity]
Steven Wilson [Porcupine Tree and a bunch of other side projects]

Also the vocalist of Muse, I know many of you would say that the vocals are gay, but I think it's pretty difficult to sing normally and switch your voice to
such a high tone.

I also agree with the mourner13 about Blindside's vocals.
I think most wouldn't appreciate neither the band nor the vocals , but I love the vocals: loud, aggresive but still clean enough to understand the lyrics.

Jonas - Katatonia
Maynard - Tool, A Perfect Circle
Mikael - Opeth
Pete Steele - Type O Negative
Nick Holmes - (early) Paradise Lost (Shades Of God to Icon)

Female vocalists:
Anneke - The Gathering
Agnete - Madder Mortem
Christina Scabbia - Lacuna Coil
Vibeke - Tristania
Lisa Gerrard - Dead Can Dance

Pff, hard question! Some favourites, in no particular order:

Åkerfeldt
Steven Wilson
Marcela Bovio (Stream Of Passion)
Vinny (Anathema)
Kärkki (Dismember)
Tägtgren
Swanö
Steele
Galder (OMC)
Van Giersbergen (Da Gathering)
Van Drunen (Pestilence/Asphyx)
Vedder (Pearl Jam)
Staley/Cantrell (Alice In Chains)
Nödtveidt (pre-Rebirth of Dissection)
Jeff Buckley
Floor Jansen (After Forever)

for chick vocalists id have to go with:

Vibeke Stene (Tristania)
Liv Kristine Espanaes Krull (Ex Theatre Of Tragedy/Leaves' Eyes)
Simone Simons (Epica)
Sharon Den Adel (Within Temptation)
Sabine Dunser (Elis)

What the heck?!
It seems that we have pretty much the same taste, at least concerning the vocalists. Believe it or not I would have listed the half of your bunch as well and I'm doing it right now =)
Here goes:

Jonas (Katatonia)
Maynard (Tool, A Perfect Circle)
Åkerfeldt (Opeth)
Tompa Lindberg (At the Gates)
Vincent Cavanagh (Anathema)

(but I have admiration for Pete Steele and Nick Holmes too ;) )

I'm not really into female vocalists, but I just love Anneke and Lisa Gerard!

EDIT: How could I forget Jeff :worship:

Jonas Renkse
Ian Curtis (Joy Division)
Carmelo Orlando (Novembre)
Mark Kozelek (Red House Painters)
Robert Smith (The Cure)
Devin Townsend
Isaac Hayes
Mikael Åkerfeldt
Mikko Kotamäki (Swallow the Sun)
and the chick in Dead Can Dance, whose name I can't remember.
