OK, imagine that you are going to see Symphony X headline at your favorite venue. The lights go dim, the intro music starts and you can see the sillouettes of your favorite musicians walk accross the stage. Then "Evolution" starts and it sounds, well "different" is what you tell yourself. After the song is over, the lights come on and you can clearly see who is on stage, they are playing symphony X, but its not symphony X!
My worst nightmare SX replacement line up is:

Vocals: David Wayne (Metal Church)
Guitar: Kerry King (Slayer)
Keyboards: Marty Healey (Dead or Alive)
Bass: Jason Newstead (ex-Metallica)
