you know there are a few guys in music that play tons of instruments/ in tons of bands at the same time / produce / mix etc.
you know,, Dan Swano, Mike Patton, Vintersorg,, etc. which is your top pick?

i would have to say vintersorg, because his latest stint of albums with borknagar, vintersorg and the waterclime album have really surprised me

Well Prince. He's not in many bands, but he can play almost anything...

My favourites are Dan Swanö (Nightingale, Bloodbath, Edge Of Sanity), Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon, Star One) and Devin Townsend (SYL, Phycisist, The Devin Townsend Band).

Dave Casswell from when day descends... although he's got some musicians to work with now, which is cool.

And Vurtox from Disillusion. That band is beyond underated. Their choruses should be on reapeat in the back of every true metallers mind...

And have to agree... Prince is immense. His rendition of Steve Vai's Tender Surrender was probably even more sexed up than steves.
