    I saw the Melvins try to open for Gwar. Their first song, the guitar was set in front of the amps and left to feedback... really? Eventually someone in the crowd started tossing firecrackers on stage. They played their set and then Gwar told them to play an encore. That's pretty metal...

    I think it's released in June... too damn far away. I'd rather them not have clean vocals, too many bands bounce between clean and harsh now with gals in it (IMO). Keep my ArchAngela..err Arch Enemy heavy and nasty.

    Manowar U.S. tour dates

    Last time I saw Maiden ticket prices were $150+ - $30-ish, but they're selling 10x as many tickets as Manowar would hope to. I'm not justifying their price, but Maiden doesn't sell ALL their tickets for $35 either. This is how the bands make their money because lord knows it's not in album...

    The fee to hire the Queensrÿche bands is now public...

    I *heard* their last appearance in Tampa (LaTorre) packed the place and tickets were around $40-ish. Not sure on the numbers that showed, but I'm sure they sold more than 500 tickets which would make $20k alone. I'd pay $40 to see them before seeing Geoff for free.
