    parting with 7" Still Day/Patterns framed . . .

Hi there. I have been an Opeth fan for a couple of years but haven't been on the boards for a while. I must part with two of the seven inch records of Still Day/Patterns in the Ivy II. There are one grey and one black one and they are framed with one cover. I will throw in two more covers with...

    Porcupine...trains

Trains is excellent. I can't wait to see it live later in the month. They have only just begun playing it live. PT's older stuff varies greatly, even within an album. I would start with in Absentia and work backward. If you enjoy it, you will like Stupid Dream and Lightbulb Sun for sure...

    Opeth on Uranium again

I caught the end of an interview with that poseur "metal chick" on Uranium last night. They were hanging out in the tour bus. Then they talked about black metal a bit. She then went on to ask questions about their hygiene and talked on her own hygiene as well. It was actually one of the better...

OT: Where to find Porcupine Tree's Lightbulb Sun, Stupid Dream for reasonable price?

Lightbulb Sun and Stupid Dream are temporarily out of print until sometime later this year. Lava (PT's new label) will be reissusing them soon. The best way to get them for now is either GEMM or Freak Emporium. There are always a few floating around ebay as well. Cheers, T np: PT - Signify

    porcupine tree discussion forums?

Hey Dolphz, sadly the PT boards aren't that active, they can go days w/o a post at times. The extra tracks are out there. You can get the European version of In Absentia online, there are several on ebay. Send me a message if you want more help.

    Boulder Show???

So did anyone go to the Boulder show? I had a house full of ill folk so I couldn't make the 4 hour trek. The Fox is an excellent place to see shows. I got to see PT there with only a couple hundred others. It was amazing. Anyway, just wondering. T

    new to Porcupine Tree

Agreed, Stupid Dream. The problem is, once you do, you will want them ALL! That's what happened to me. If you want Stupid Dream, you might have to get it from GEMM.com or from eBay as it is currently out of print until re-released by Lava next year, though there may be some left at amazon.com...

from Damnation? or just a PT song?

From the Porcupine Tree boards, in reference to an "In Absentia Sessions track" : "most probably you downloaded the demo version of Cut Ribbon (or something like that), which has the line "collapse the light into the earth" but it's a non PT song by Steven Wilson, part of a metal project he's...

    Porcupine Tree

Oh yeah, sounds pretty Opethish, what a great song. And, they are even more rockin' live than they are on the albums. If you can, see this band live, they are amazing. NP: Lightbulb Sun
