i LOVE April Ethereal. that's one of my favorite opeth songs. unfortunately, my copy of MAYH is scratched, and April Etherial skips for like 2 minutes straight. yeah, i can't think of any pumpkins songs with the mellotron, but they show it on the new DVD. SP is my other favorite band (besides Opeth). The two bands just have such beautiful music, i could live forever without listening to anything else.

Opeth was amazing that night. Behemoth was good, I like them, and they played my favorite one of their songs (Decade of Therion). Lacuna coil was ok...i guess....Andre couldn't be heard that much, and I just couldn't get into them that much. Nile played great, but could have been better...

I'm not going to answer this, simply because I haven't had Deliverance long enough, or listened to it enough to have it really grow on me. I think after a couple weeks or so, a lot of peoples opinions of the album will become more positive.

I'm a fan of all opeth, and MAYH is my favorite record of theirs, but I still like Deliverance (or what i've heard of it)...but you're right, something sounds missing. Maybe it's just the fact that it's the first time i've heard it. I know it will grow on me. The cover art is great as well...

I hope the US gives birth to more bands like this. These guys are some of the best American metal i've heard in some time.

Yes, the name of it was "Cradle of Fear". It was a decent tribute to 80's splatter films, but other than that, it was nothing special. My favorite movies...Fight Club, Clerks, O Brother Where Art Thou, Snatch, Dogma, Dirty Harry...just to name a few.
