last Opeth tour i combined the shows with a holiday...so I travelled from Darwin and caught them once in Brisbane and twice in Melbounre...was great, saw every song performed on tour (including Forest of October and To Bid You Farewell!).... first time they toured me and some mates also flew...

The solos from To Bid You Farewell and that sixth track off the new album (can't remember the name) are awesome...very Mark Knopfler...also the solo form A Fair Judgement....smoooth.... Cheers Paul D.

They definitely played Forest in brisso...Mikael said something like "this is our first time in Australia so we would like to play something off all our albums (except damnation). This is a really old one, from Orchid...Forest of October...." It was fucking great...not sure why they aren't...

I am still a little speechless about the evening. But I consider it a cathartic experience. I was absolutely blown away. As you can see by the set list they played an excellent range. Forest of October...can't believe they played it. It was a beautiful evening... So many highlights, can't list...

Going to Brisso...flying all the way from Darwin with a couple of mates for the pleasure.... money well fucking spent as far as I am concerned... maybe I'll see some of you there...I'll prolly wear a long sleeeve Blind GUardian Tales from the Twilight World shirt. If you see me don't...
