    Anthrax...........Bush Covers......Belladonna/Turbin Era Songs

Much more like First Strike Still Deadly, since Days of Purgatory only had re-recorded vocals (bass and drums re-recorded on tracks from Enter the Realm), where as First Strike Still Deadly was a complete re-recording. An even better comparision would be Gamma Ray's Blast From the Past, where...

My Visit Today With Jon Allen's Daughter

I'm happy to hear that! I hope for a quick full recovery soon, hang in there!

    Fav Testament Ballad

Ranking for me: 1. Legacy 2. Return to Serenity 3. Trail of Tears 4. The Ballad I think Testament does the best ballads, man. All of those songs except The Ballad (which feels a bit unfocused IMO) are all fantastic emotion. I'm normally not a big fan of ballads. I mean, I don't have...

    Best Testament Drummer

Actually, I'd say that's the charm of the two first albums, the power of combining some really brutal riffs, combined with some really simple drumming. Adds to the headbanging, IMO. Perhaps on cost if intriciaty (sp?), though, for some I guess.

Which album should I get, Killing Ground or Metalhead?

As a matter of fact, that's a thing I don't like about Saxon, the lyrical themes are sometimes a bit too varied for my taste. I mean, I don't like hearing a track with the name "Crusader" and then hear a track with the name "A Little Bit of What You Fancy" or "Bad Boys Like to Rock 'n' Roll.

Which album should I get, Killing Ground or Metalhead?

Is that bonus disc the 1-cd version of Heavy Metal Thunder?

Which album should I get, Killing Ground or Metalhead?

I know I've made a similar topic before, but now I know it's a toss up between these two. Which one of these would you recommend the most, 'cause I'm too cheap to buy them both (at once)! :p If my online shop had Dogs of War, I wouldn't have asked you, because then I would definitely have...

Rank Testament Albums Best to Worst

I only have their six first (+Fillmore), so here we go: 1. New Order (by a long shot) 2. Legacy 3. Practice What You Preach 4. Low 5. Souls of Black 6. The Ritual

The Ritual vs The Black Album

Both of the records are known for being the respective band's commercial record, so I'd say this is a very interesting poll (not that I doubted for a second who was gonna win on this site, though). Although TBA is probably a bit more commercial than Ritual, I'd still say TBA is the better...

    iced earth news

I read that before, this is just so awesome!! Although Matt is one of my favorite vocalists, Tim is still the better, IMO. Check out www.icedearth.com for soundclips, BTW.

    The Best Testament Album

I'd love to vote for New Order, but since I haven't even heard Gathering I don't feel alligable (sp?) to vote. I have all Testament studio records from Legacy to Low, except Souls of Black.

Which Saxon album should I begin with?

I was thinking to buy the Wheels of Steel/Strong Arm of the Law cd for starter, since they had a big influence on the NWOBHM in the early 80's, but I've been hearing a bit here and there that Saxon has actually improved with age, and nowadays soud better than they ever did in during the NWOBHM...
