People call new In Flames "alternative" but the music in the last 5 albums is not light enough to have brought in new fans. The people who hear new In Flames are people who listen to metal bands anyway so they will always know who In Flames really is.

"Voices" is good. Like it a lot. Very heavy and SOAPF reminiscent. I swear if they're going to keep making these chorus-centric songs they could make the hooks on each song stand out just a bit more on their own, though. Just a tad more catchy? I Am Above so far has the most memorable chorus...

Anders screams in the rock am ring 2006 videos are by far the best quality screams he's done in my opinion. Perfect consistent raspy frys. Growls are still on point tho as evident by that live Colony performance I posted a couple pages back

Anders prefers to growl I think... Voice-health wise. He can do it so easily and has been throwing it in to random parts of songs for a very long time live. Would be great if they threw in just a few more older songs (they have a lot more in recent years I know which is great)... I'm talking...

Yeah he really killed it there. The lower pitch is what did it for me. I'd be amped af if I was there. This song should be an IF classic played live way more

Anders has always been able to effortlessly access really good growls. He can still belt out any older song (Gyroscope ;)) live Not that I personally prefer him to sing every song like that of course... But to death-growl almost the entire song of Colony like that was interesting... In years...

Thx. Weird that all the other streams work fine for me but not In Flames haha Ghost also killed it at Wacken but I guess wasn't streamed. Had an awesome time.
