They could've picked four better songs. Like... Face of Melinda instead of Windowpane I guess Ghost of Perdition was alright since they had to play something off of GR. Blackwater Park instead of The Leper Affinity and By the Pain I see in Others instead of Deliverance.

There's actually alot of good metal at Wal-Mart. I've seen Opeth, Amon Amarth, Dimmu Borgir, Himsa, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Trivium, Six Feet Under, Entombed, Between the Buried and Me, Darkest Hour, Shadows Fall, Children of Bodom and many others there.

Only way I'd be happy with Opeth on Ozzfest is if they got a Main Stage headlining slot. Playing at least 50 minutes, but of course that won't happen. They're not big enough for something like that yet. Ozzfest would probably rather get someone like System of a Down, Avenged Sevenfold or Lacuna...

Think it's a possibility? I hope not. I don't think they'll bother with it, especially after the shitty reaction they got on SOTU. What do you guys think?

I'd say Character is closer to their roots than DD. But meh, I love all of their releases. Even DD. They can't really put out a shitty record. Except for the last track on Enter Suicidal Angels, Archetype. Yuck.

Damage Done isn't a good representation of DT. If anything from DT's catlogue would be considered Metalcore, it'd be that album. Although its miles away from being remotely close to Metalcore. I'd go with The Gallery. Their best by far.

What a weird lineup. Just three years ago LC were opening for Opeth. Meh, I'll probably still go. Depending on the ticket price though.

What I've always wanted to see was a short film to the soundtrack of My Arms, Your Hearse and Still Life. That would be pretty sweet. As for Opeth making music videos, nah they don't need them.

You need slapped. Dark Tranquillity are one of the pioneers of the Melodic Death sound which most Metalcore bands try to imitate but can't pull it off as well. And as for DT sounding like speed punk I have no idea where you got that.
