I tried not to be an obvious fanboy with that one, honestly. But it's far too good.
EDIT: Agalloch, Negura Bunget, Colour Haze, and Drudkh are extremely close though... eh fuckit. 5 way tie. 2006 was an amazing year, even if I didn't realize it until this year.
EDIT EDIT: Oh yeah plus Mastodon. 6 way tie.

Negura Bunget, Warning, Colour Haze....hmmm. All three of those are 10's in my book. Quite a few more great albums as well.
If I was forced to choose one, I'd have to go with Negura in the long run. That album is practically a spiritual epiphany for me.
