Concerning Grey dawn and Rain without end, no doubt Grey dawn is the best...
I like rain without end, but the music is more basic doom, excellent though...You can find these slow tappings for example in it, like in brave murder day, or paradise lost in general. But grey dawn is far more experimental. This album is one my fave of all times, cause you can really feel the musical research and experimentation of Jonas and Fred.
And -oh my god- 'Dear Sun' is the blackest song of my CD collection I guess. You MUST hear this masterpiece of dark music... I'm going to do that now, see you!

I've only got Grey Dawn and obviously I love it.

Doesn't everyone!? I think Jonas' drums sound amazing on this album- better than the drums on his other works.

'Dear Sun' really is an amazing piece of music.

In fact, I think I'm about due for an evening of beer, 'Grey Dawn' and 'Brave Murder Day' to just reflect on everything...

Just sit back and relax.

+ "Sounds of Decay" for me:).

I actually don't have 'Sounds of Decay'.

I suppose, then, that you suggest I get it?

Is it readily availible? I hope it's not a limited edition or something, cause I've heard such wonderful things about it.

Should I order it from my heavy music guy?

i think you actually do have to kill to get sounds of decay....
im happy its up on the mp3 site, because nowhere is one of my absolute favorite katatonia songs.
