2012 Presidential election thread

Americans treat their elections like a sporting event.

It's purely entertainment, its like watching Jersey Shore, just exponentially worse.

Don't even bother with it. I majored political science and almost killed myself with how stupid it all really is. It's a game of pandering and deceit.

He has already posted in detail about fucking insane crack whores.
the insane slutty girl i've been talking about smokes weed, drinks beer, gets high off of her perscription meds, but she doesn't do crack and she's not having sex for money

He has already posted in detail about his life trials waiting on free money from the gubment

i got robbed
so the paper check i got for the 2nd half of march and the month of april is gone, i'm getting a plastic debit card in a few days that might have $350 from september's money on it, and i might be able to get a payday loan on the card and get may's money early, if anyone cares about my finances

Oh the delicious irony.

Yeah, now you've confirmed you're also an idiot.

How? My political opinion hasn't been stated or implied. You don't even know what party I support. I just stated that it makes sense to vote for whoever you think is a better choice.

You also lied about putting me on your ignore list, as expected.

I understand your reasoning for "voting for the lesser of two evils", but please don't refer to that as "making the better choice". If you begin with saying the glass is half empty, don't turn around and say it's half full just to back up your argument. Besides, in terms of election year rhetoric, it is very easy for the "lesser" of the two evils, in terms of rhetoric, to become very "evil" after they're elected, in terms of policy. Just look at Obama.

That's not what you said. You said voting for the lesser of two evils is a logical decision. How is that even remotely logical? That's what stupid people believe and do because they think settling on the least shitty candidate is somehow a good thing. You're still voting for evil dummy.

Also, I only took you off my ignore list to see just how silly your political opinions are and you didn't disappoint.

Voting for what you view as the lesser of two evils is a logical decision. Maybe you should take your own advice.

Not voting at all is a logical course of action if you're unhappy with your choices. The current ideology of the "duty" or "responsibility" to vote is misleading and actually serves to reinforce the status quo.

If every single person refrained from voting, the consequences would be immeasurable compared to the potential "change" promised by any single candidate.

i think the problem everyone's bitching about is really just the fact that there's really no way in hell anyone that would be capable of being a decent president will ever actually be able to get themselves anywhere close to becoming president

i actually understand and agree with what you're saying,
i never meant to say that democrat = really awesome
i just meant to say that democrat >>> republican
and also that the president is going to be one or the other, a third party president is really never going to happen

the "terrible" under Obama wasn't really more than just obama sucking at trying to fix the crappiness of how bush jr fucked up the country

the american unemployment rate under bill clinton's administration was the lowest it had been in bill clinton's lifetime

the "outsourcing epidemic" was bush sr and bush jr
