$400 in hand...Time to get a DI box and other stuff!

Ok, Id like to spend it all on recording gear, and I have another 200 Id like to spend on pickups for my 7 string. So do you guys have any recommendations?

I would also like recommendations for the best/your favorite DI box for guitar/bass, and 7 string pickups.


Thanks! At the moment, Im just using my toneport UX2, Pod parm + metal shop pack, and sonar, though I think I might buy Reaper.

Countryman Type 85 all the way. It's been on my "DO WANT" list for awhile now.

You can DI with an outboard FX processor on bypass.....that's 2 birds with one stone
