6505+ and Marshall 1960 cab

This is a riff taken from my last work.
It's a riff from the intro song so I raised the gain a litte bit because it fits better the atmosphere in this particular song.
Chain was: Schecter C1 - TS7 - Peavey 6505+ - Marshall 1960a with gt75 speakers.

Too grainy for my taste...
What mics?

I used a 57 and a Superlux tube mic, but I think I'll use only the 57 (like in this clip).
I wanted a grainy sound because it fit well the band's sound and here there is too much gain because it's the intro...for the other songs I use less gain.
