Cool, I'm actually looking for a LOUD passive pickup, and reading from SD and DiMarzio seems like the Invader has the most output of all, so I guess thats it. Plus it looks very cool

For some fast, tight palm mutes, how do hi-output pickups behave like ? Don't they make a lot of noise because of extra gain during damping? or is it all about the damping technique?

ot- by the way moonlapse what's the scene like in melbourne? for metal and production, a friend and I are coming over in a couple of weeks, and I plan on moving there at the end of the year.

Well, it's not that bad man. I think there'd be alot of work in the live scene, because you constantly have local bands trying to break out and become national.

There's metal bands cutting demos all the time aswell.

I don't think we get nearly as much action as the US and Europe would though.

Pickups with too high an output are shit.

You just have too much gain for my liking.
