Well after the discussion we had a few weeks ago about the Crumbsuckers I decided I had better get me a copy of anything I could by them and did Yesterday when my copy of "Beast on my Back" or "B.O.M.B." arrived in the mail its a cassette which is fine what matters is the unheard by me musical gems that await inside, I pop in the tape and the first thing I hear is Piano music and it goes and goes and goes and I start to wonder "Shit, what they do record over the tape?" well soon enough I find out its the right one! When I asked what they sounded like Y'all should have told me they sounded like early Pro-Pain cause thats exzactly what they sound like! I think anybody who hates the modern Metalcore scene or loves it should check this shit out! this is the Original Metalcore! done right! its more thrashy than Hardcore but there are moments were the HC shines through Excellent Band Excellent Album! thanks to whoeverthefuckitwas that I cant remember that brought them up in that thread that I have forgotten :D

I was the one who has been plugging the band for almost a year now on the board whenever someone asks for a thrash list ... though no one ever responded till now lol ... damn you guys!!! yes they are a excellent band.. and the reason they sound like Pro Pain is because 2 members i believe started Pro Pain after Crumbsuckers broke up.. and for the record i saw them live when they did a reunion show in Bayshore Long island's Sundance venue back in like 1988 or so hehehe EXCELLENT SHOW . im sure there is probably a bootleg video of it floating out there... other members of the band turned into Glam rockers.. go figure.. ewwww lol dont ask me how you go from Crumbsuckers to a Glam/Hair band.. also i dont know how remembers this... but the other guitarist of Cinderella (not Tom) used to wear a Crumbsuckers shirt onstage all the time.. he loved the band... see if you can find a old pic of him wearing one.. i probably have it in one of my old Hit Parader/Circus issues i have stored in my apartment...

AWWWWWWWWW hell yeah! I was listening to the Crumbsuckers and skateboarding back in the day...geez. Must've been about 88? Anyways THE ACCUSED!!!!!!! SWINE you really impressed me with that one!!! I didn't know you had that much punk in you!! I consider the Accused a Punk band, at least. The Revenge of Martha Splatterhead!!!!!! That one had the cover song of "I'd Love To Change the World" and man it ruled!!! I still have that album on vinyl but have never found it on cd.

Yep it was Gary Meskil and Dan Richardson .... Gary M actually formed Crumbsuckers in 1982 by the time they recorded he was the only remaining original member in the band :D but yeah they are an Excellent band the more I hear "Bomb" the more I like it!

Before the Seattle scene exploded with the grunge bands there was the one & ONLY ACCUSED! I like the term they used for their sound "Splatter Rock." It fit!
I've been on the hunt for their stuff...
I'll keep you posted TVF...

And remember the guitarist(Tommy) left The Accused to form the second rate(or the genre's version of a band like Hericane Alice)grunge band Gruntruck! Which by the way I saw in a dirty little club in Portland, OR called (at the time) The Pine St. Theater! Trust me it was no theater...

You should be able to find BOMB on cd. It was re-released a few years back. I got it on cd back in 88. :) It is a true gem that is often forgotten about. My fav tracks are Rejuvenate and Remembering Tomorrow.

What did you guys think of the first album, Life of Dreams? I was never able to get into it...maybe it was less thrashy/more hardcore?

Wasn't one of the guitarists in LeigeLord(sp?)?

Figured out the name of that fine band from the Northwest when me and some of my
old school punk and metal buddies were having a beer together last night at The Alley
Cat Lounge! The mighty ANGRY SAMOANS!!!! :kickass:
