I like political lyrics - they actually mean something! Take Midnight Oil for example. My....favourite....lyrics....ever.....

I know fuck all about chart music these days....almost absolutely nothing. It's true though, you can hardly tell who any individual artist/group is, cos they all sound the fucking same. At least when you heard Michael Jackson you knew who it was straight away, whether you liked him or not.
