Do we get the DVD here in the States, or is it just a Euro thing? Is it in the slipcase version I've seen?

It's not a DVD. It's an enhanced CD with the video (.mpg) on the CD.Just insert the CD in your CD-Rom drive and there will be a video file which you can open.And yes, it's the slipcase version.
