I think the EP is good. Very calm and harmonic. No harsh stuff at all, mostly instrumental (piano).
Also on the AGALLOCH front, the band parted ways with drummer Chris Greene and has replaced him with Aesop from LUDICRA.
AGALLOCH released its critically acclaimed album, "Ashes Against the Grain" in August 2007 via The End Records.
actually, haughm did the drumming on aatg and while simplistic i feel it works okay except that one fill in "falling snow" that is STILL way too fast and stressedTwo points: 1) Agalloch's drumming is probably the worst ever recorded.
I mean all the albums, not just AAtG. Just not my thing apparently. Yet, I feel like Agalloch somehow get away with being completely and totally talentless...so I usually have to say something negative about them rather than stay quiet on the matter.

And it's a tight race between boring and pretentious. This EP is boring as hell.
I would, but I don't want to go to Asa Bay. It's populated almost entirely by Oompa Loompas.Show me the pretension in there and I'll show you the path to Asa Bay.
