Lite? lol Akercocke are brutal as fuck. Mendonca has the most brutal growls and eeriest shrieks in the business, not to mention his fantastic voice. He is what you'd get if you combined Frank Mullen with Garm... and added some fuckin' awesome death songwriter / guitarist into that.

Opeth are pussy death metal.

Anyway, the album is fantastic. Matt's guitar work is even better than Scanlans, and that is saying something! I love the proggy bits, and it even sounds like Nile at moments.

Man what an interesting album. Some parts of it drove my ears a little nuts while listening, but that's not always a bad thing. It's just something that you have to actually "listen to". I like the blending of prog with this style of playing.
