I totally disagree, when it was released Among the Living was something a bit different and original from other thrash albums, with it's lyrics addressing a number of books and characters, it's shouting vocals in choruses coupled with Scott Ian's often marching-type riffs and the songs many tempo changes.
Yes it is. It's still very lighthearted but its master of puppety thrash + traditional heavy metal minus the extreme gayness of some of their other later releases. I guess FoM isn't bad eother
Because nothing from Anthrax is the best of anything, they are in my opinion one of the crappiest, most untalented, most overrated thrash bands in existance ... it's always bothered me that these clowns were a part of the big four, especially when considering how talented the other bands in the "group" are.
oh and honestly, i dont think i can name you a worse drummer than benante.
I agree. I've always thought they really sucked and could not write decent interesting or good music at all. John Bush vocally could not even save the band. Armored Saint was really good and should have gotten a lot more recognition than they did.
