The Nocturnal Silence - it was Before the Dawn for a long time but I think I prefer Unholy Prophecies now.
Blessed are the Sick - I can get behind this pick, but it's probably a tie with Fall From Grace and The Ancient Ones.

I've listened to Entombed and Grave, heard of Dismember. Grave is good. I do like supporting young bands though. They're playing their fresh material live with full energy. I can buy their CD and meet them and have it signed, and they really appreciate the support. The shows and drinks are cheaper, the people are nice, etc.

This. You can only listen to 30 year old albums so much, these newer bands might just do something different enough with a pre-established sound to keep it alive in a way that is worth hearing.
