Darkest Era - Severance
A 2014 hidden gem that doesn't sound like a hidden gem. What I mean is, it's not just good but also way too accessible and distinctive to be as unsung as it is. RYM tags it as heavy, power and folk metal which is deceptive; I was caught off-guard by how aggressive some of the riffing is and other parts are outright doomy.

Realised this now makes no sense. I was supposed to say I didn’t realise at first you had posted that Svolder album because this is the cover art I’m familiar with. Utterly ridiculous.

Then I definitely recommend you listen to all of their full lengh as Svolder sound a lot like them.

The Chasm - From the Lost Years
This album has grown on me quite a bit since listening much closer for the discography ranking. I already liked it a lot, but now I love it. Some of their most emotionally charged passages and so many highlights throughout the album.
