Its for sure very different from Planetary Duality, at times I was forgetting it was The Faceless that I was listening to. The prog. elements are fucking awsome.

The Faceless are clearly not for me. I can't stand that album, but then I can't stand metalcore or deathcore. Absolutely fucking terrible. I've also seen them live (as a supporting act) and it was horrible. Talented musicians? Sure. Music I like? Most definitely NOT.

I'll be picking up the new Faceless album as well. I liked both of their previous albums, Akeldama more than Planetary Duality actually. Fuck, the song Leica on that album alone did that for me.

Nothing wrong with rehashing a classic. And a lot of people might have overlooked In the Glare... since it was such an early release.
