Obliteration - Black Death Horizons

This band keeps getting better and better after each albums. Probably my favorite newish DM band for sure.

I've listened to that one before, but not in quite a while. I don't really remember a thrash influence, or much at all about it except that it was strong USPM. I'll have to listen to it again.

Two or three of their songs definitely have that thrash vibe. You should check this song to see that:

Inversion of Ethereal White Stars is nothing by magnificent.

Really love this album. Damn, I would never have thought that I will prefer it a bit more than Ace of Spades or Iron Fist nowadays. Great choice!

FUCK! I forgot how fucking amazing this album really is. One of the shining albums of the "Brutal Death Metal" scene. Good choice!

Synkvervet- Var Avmakt.
Symphonic black metal done right from Norway. More on the raw side compared to other acts, and not too heavily keyboard driven. Good stuff.

Easily one of the better doom bands around these days, yet get so little attention. Fans of Reverend Bizarre should eat this up.


This is off of their EP, but absolutely top-tier stuff if you're looking for a song to see if this band whets your appetite.
