Well it's hipsters trying to play black metal. That rarely ends well. Usually the mere scent of hipsterdom on a black metal album is enough to turn me off.

Yeah. You can search for them on M-A by typing "black strip". According to that site their lyrical themes are "Personal Feelings, Negative Emotions". So yeah, obviously total crap.

I think they also go by [nic] or something. I remember seeing the album art and being interested then when I heard it, I was fairly disappointed.
