This is their lowest-rated album on RYM. Deserved or not (I'd argue this should be at least higher than Negatron), it takes one hell of a band to have a worst album this good.

Man I love Motorhead. I'm not sure they're hyper innovative but they kick fucking ass and that all that matters. I admit I was late to the party but now I have every full length cd but Motorizer and I've started on the vinyls. Wish Lemmy coulda lived forever.

Yeah that one was a lot better than I remembered it being on first listen. Still low in my overall ranking of their discography but at least decent, with some legit very good songs.

They were fusing punk and metal in the mid 70's. That's pretty fucking nutsy. From Lemmy's unorthodox bass work to Philthy Animals's double bass drumming, forget thinking outside the box, these guys filled it with a gasoline canister and then flicked a half burnt Marlboro into the fucker. Good to hear, pretty much even their "worst" albums have at least 3 barn burners or more,

Frankly, I think Motorhead's versatility and willingness to integrate other genres into their own (often successfully) are among their most criminally underrated aspects.
