Alexi Laiho to tour with Hypocrisy

Why are you pulling Sinergy into this..? Back when they were writing Blooddrunk I posted a thread about the idea, that maybe they scrapped the new Sinergy album for good and wanted to use the best riffs or solos for Blooddrunk then... which most likely didn't happen.

Because Roope told Twisha that the new Sinergy album was never going to happen, so they were going to use the best stuff for the new Bodom album.

Ha, look at all the COB fanboys admitting it would be good for Alexi Gayho to pick up some influence from Peter. You are admitting the problem with COB right there.

:lol::lol::lol:

Legendary Swedish death metallers HYPOCRISY have issued the following statement in regards to their upcoming tour with ENSIFERUM that starts on Friday, November 6th:

“Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are forced to stay home until U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services process and authorize our working visas. This is the first time the band has faced a situation like this and it’s extremely frustrating, as well as depressing, since the last thing we want to do is disappoint our loyal fans who have waited years to see us live in the U.S. We filed for our visas with plenty of time, but as some probably don’t know, the US government has changed its rules when it comes to visas issued to artists so it’s become tougher. Even if we have already toured the US numerous times.

As it stands now, we are on stand-by mode and waiting to receive the green light. We hope it’s just a few days before that happens, in the meantime we want to apologize to all the fans that planned on going to see us tear shit up live. We will do our best to re-join the tour as soon as possible!”

HYPOCRISY have enlisted the help of CHILDREN OF BODOM guitarist/frontman Alexi Laiho to temporarily fill the vacant 2nd guitarist spot on their tour alongside ENSIFERUM, HYPOCRISY, EX DEO, BLACKGUARD, SWASHBUCKLE.

oh, that sucks, really. Recently one polish group had to cancel several gigs in US due the same reason... To make things funnier they've been to US before and played there. And now they weren't given a visa for no reason at all. :zipit:

Sure, but in other hand it's strange to block people who have already been there and are quite predictable (play concerts, drink beer, nothing more, nothing less).

They don't care you've already been there. you just have to wait like everybody else to get your visa even if your job has already started there... But it sucks when it happens especially for bands who don't have the opportunity to play often there.

Bullshit. Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit. When borderjumpers can make it in to the country perfectly, plus are given US rights, and a simple Euro band can't get in?

LOVELY!!
