alexi's esp anyone play one?

I don't see how it's being a fanboy at all, that's just pathetic.

It's a guitar for fuck sake, so what if someone else likes it and owns one, doesn't mean they want to put it in Alexi's ass does it.

actually it does. every purchase of an alexi v automatically enters you into a raffle and the winner gets to put it in alexi's ass :)

I've only tried it. I find Jacksons and Ibanezes much better, especially the neck, and Hz-4 are not really the best pickups for an Alder body... Overprised as fuck too... Good looking though :)

You know, I think Alexi has absolutely shit taste in guitars. Alder sucks, having a single pickup sucks (A passive EMG, yikes) and together with the tone he uses, which currently sucks ass in my opinion, just makes for a shit combo. I'd never get a guitar like that unless I was ridiculously rich and wanted something to decorate my awesome house with. =P

i've been looking at a lot of offset v guitars nowadays, definetly going to get one w/ x-mas money, i REALLY LOVE the jackson rr5, i played it at guitar center, i usually am like really afraid to play there and then i totally mess up, but man....the rr5....was like perfect for me! i was also playing through the new kickasss spider 3's which i've decided i'm going to get the HD75 head+cab. i kinda gave up on the 5150/6505 etc. due to money lol. the only thing i'm dissapointed bout the rr5 is the llack of a floyd/locking trem. i would get a rr3 cuz they have one, but does it cost extra to get dif. colors? i want like black/white pinstripes, or black w/gold. i didn't know much aboout the alexi's, i havn't found one yet and can't play one.... so i'm guessing you guys are saying it's not worth it?

The RR5 is a kickass guitar but as you said it lacks the floyd rose and if im correct only has 22frets which is a bastard when your trying to play fast solos which hit the 24th. Also Price depends on the colour of the RR3 but I dont think you can get one with pinstripes unless you go custom. And only the US alexi's arent worth it:)

Someone showed me a Jackson RR that has a floating bridge and 24 frets and wasn't a custom, I don't have the link with me though.

In response to the idea of someone being a fanboi for having an Alexi model guitar: Well I see where you're coming from, but it is a really nice looking guitar in my opinion. And I would buy one if it wasn't for the impracticleness of it's shape (although I still wouldn't mind owning a Jackson :p) and I dont really see the point in only having one pickup.
