Somewhere far beyond
yeah so how long has alexi been doing this i need to get back issues from when he started doing this. I've only been playing since late feburary and it is a easy way to learn te songs through a monthly pace. and they have real accurate tabs.

I actually think alexis column sucks, he just tells you how to play his songs... but thats what most of them do. If you wanna learn their songs, get tabs, or figure it out by ear... personally I'd like to see them talk about technique and whatnot alot more.

there are 2 isseus where needled is explained. about 10 pages or sthg. lead, rythm guitar and bass with explaination in tablature and notes. I have these pagges on my computer from a guy who was so kind to scan them in.
I think there are also tabs of (parts) of other songs. Don't know what magazine or any details. Bodom after midnight I remember and some other song(s). Wasn't it Young Guitar or sthg. Would still like to have it.
Anyway, I have to wake up at 4:30 for work so I'm going to bed.

this month it was all about jeff loomis, dave mustaine and john petrucci, i dont remember what alexi is doing next month, but i second what was said about his technique, hell i can already play every bodom song (minus the 3 new ones) i want to know how alexi comes up with his shit!

It hasn't been interesting thus far, he's showed some basic riffs. I found the Shadows Fall guys lessons to be more interesting, and Zakk's of course.

OH YEAH! That issue must be about Gigantour!!!!! I just went to Gigantour about a week ago and saw Nevermore, Dream Theater, Megadeth, and Symphony X etc :Spin:

he shows you how to play the part that starts at 2:26 it is simply sounds cool and has alot of fun slides. i'm proud of myself that i cna play it since i've only been playing since late feburary. i jsut wish i woul've started playing early in life.
