Great voice though. Tool is outstanding live....I just wish that they'd get rid of this fake "mystique" that so many of their fans seem to get off on.

i saw maynard "live" on tv and he was terrible. never seen him at a real show though. and yes, tool's silly "mystique" is a gimmick. maynard is a joke - claims it's all about the music but then goes on stage in drag. lame. bands who say "it's all about the music" should NEVER get on a stage and get paid. that is pure baloney. "all about the music" is playing in your garage or sitting in your den writing some acoustic shit.
