alice in chains

They are pretty damn good. At first they were only medicore for me, but after listening to them I started to appreiciate their music more and more. Plus I like Godsmack who are a self-proclaimed Alice in Chains tribute band (atleast at first, I don't know if they realy still are).

Yah, he is. I have their Debut album and Awake. I also have a few songs from their acoustic CD. Good CD, diffrent feel then their other stuff, but defiinitly a good feel.

Personally I like the feel of Godsmack better, mainly cause they have a more heavier feel (especialy with their first 3 CD's).

I'm not sure when they said that they were an aic tribute band, but if you've ever heard Godsmack's acoustic stuff, then it makes perfect sense..

aren't they fucking awesome?
Awesome? Well Dirt certainly was and they have some really good tracks on some other albums... but overall I wouldn't say they are awesome.

I didn't know who they were on the CLASH OF THE TITANS tour in 1991. But they sure as hell sucked. Should have been a heavier band on the bill instead of AIC.

Later, I enjoyed their music, but they sure as hell didn't deserve being on tour w/ SLAYER / MEGADETH / ANTHRAX in '91. Their music was too slow for that type of tour.

oh, definitely one of my fave grunge/metal bands! dirt is high on my list of fave albums. did you hear they are getting back together with a new singer who is supposed to sound just like layne?

Yea William DuVall is singing for Alice in Chains on a European tour. William Duvall does backing vocals on Jerry Cantrell's band.
