While we're on the topic of Tony McAlpine, what do you all think of the really insane part in Planet X's Apocalypse 1470 BC?? The part i'm talking about is where the whole band does the sync solo runs (or not so solo runs ). This song is a free download on Planet X's website so check it out if you havent.

I find this particular part to be totally insane, cos i'm a keyboardist mainly......and the progressions are fully difficult cos they're in no sort of standard melodic chord structure.

Yes its insane! Really hard to play with band. If you are interested i have done that song couple minutes. The unisono part uses Superlocrian scale (locrian b11).
