All time favorite album

i've seen gildenlöw live, too. and it's also apparent in POS' albums, too. he is wasting too much energy to show off his vocal talent. all those high-pitched vox, screams and that...it's just too much. just shut up for a minute and let the music breathe goddamit
Obviously he goes ott a bit too much, but I reckon Iter Impius is the most perfect vocal performance I've ever heard. He doesn't force it, and that's what makes it brilliant.

Anyway, my best album ever is In the Land of Grey and Pink. Or Mirage.

Get "The Breathing Shadow," it's the most unique Nightingale album, as well as the first, plus it was when Dan did everything solo.

My second recommendation would be their newest one "White Darkness." Easily Dan's best vocal performance out of them all.

Will do! Moontower is on the way as well. :headbang:

Way too hard to pick only one. I'd have a hard time even narrowing it down to five, but I'll try.

The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust (Bowie)
Dark Side of the Moon
Still Life
Thick as a Brick (Jethro Tull)
American Beauty (Grateful Dead)

By no means what I listen to the most or even very much at all these days, but definitely what I consider to be some of the greatest musical works ever released.
