Not that it really matters, and yes it is subjective but whos better: Steve or Les Claypool? Just curious to hear your opinions. There was a argument about this on blabbermouth and I stuck with Steve cause I know damn well Les probably couldn't play some of the stuff hes' done with Sadus and Death.

Les comes up with some really cool weird shit (I love Primus), as does Steve (different type of weird though), but they play different styles so it's impossible to say. And irrelevant. Both are cool.

Two completely different styles of music. You can't compare. A lot of people I know compare Cliff Burton and Steve but again, I don't think that's a fair comparison either.

as far the ones i like, take a listen to Victor Wooten (some songs: "clasiccal thump" and "a show of hands"), stanley clarke, adam nitti. (specially if you like two handed tapping techniques or slap).
