American DVD release date

yeah id like to know that aswell.

especially if its multiregional... the end should just import them from Europe then pass them on.. id pay a few extra dollars to get it 3 whole months earlier

stop complaining guys... do you know how many times opeth was in america this year, how many dates they played in america (moreover with porcupine tree) and how lucky you will be in 2 or 3 months to hear "the moor" and "blackwater park" live...don't take it wrong guys,i've nothing wrong with America but, really, really, stop complaining...moreover,you could find the dvd in import or download it (in waiting for the official american release, of course)...so,yeah,you really should stop complaining...

I believe you will get the European release from the End when they get it. It would be silly to put up a preorder four or five months in advance. They arent that mainstream.
exactly what i was thinking about, 2 hours ago

what european version? its region-free
The Euro version will be PAL and the North American version will be NTSC. If you order the Euro version and live in North America, there is a pretty good chance that you won't be able to watch it on your dvd player.

are you sure about that?

C'mon guys they wouldn't put it up for pre-order if the USA version hasn't even been made yet (they have to transfer to NTSC playback, hence the 3 month delay)!!

Of course it's the european version!

ok..i dont know whether to be sad or not...and are you too sure that it will be PAL? i mean....like that one guy said, why would they put it up for preorder so the US people can get it if it was PAL...
anyway...i dont think ill get my Xmas present anyway one looks at it...:(
