you can find great deals for Holland. i'd say around 600-700$ sometimes even less, it all depends on how good your travel agent is...
the whole trip to wacken including flights, hotels for the first days (i assume you will camp there if you'll go....) food, drinks and some shopping shouldnt cost more than 2000 - 2500$
of course- if you plan to go only to the festival without buying anything- it shouldnt be more than 1800-1900$.

...what a luck...just 2-3 hours by car, and this will be the 7. time for me... do you guys make the long journey only for wacken? that´s amazing...but, this is the thing, I love the most, people from everywhere, that´s great, and thats how it should be...last year I heard russian there the first time...luck, i understood a little... this year will be the best, the greatest and the most unhealthy wacken...what do you think of this damned disscusion about the Onkelz on the W:O:A:-forum? it bores me! seeems, the germans have really problems with them. I´m looking foreward Amon, they are the main reason to come, but the whole billing is great. Did you saw, that the wacken-officials negotiate with Einherrjer, Falkenbach and a view other graet bands this time? this would be fun!!! but they also negotiate wit Within Temptation!
