Anybody know this? http://amtelectronicsusa.com/productpageduhast.html Looks very promising to me, demos (also on youtube) sounds very good... or not? I sold my sansamp psa1 and now searching for something for that "rammstein" sound :) I´m on budget and cannot try this pedal, so what do you think... could be better than virtual amps like SoloC etc? Or it is only usual piece of crap pedal for 14 year old beginners? :)

Really does sound a lot like a PSA1 from the clips. Looks cool, between this and the "Black Metal" pedal you could get some killer great/terrible sounds.

Lasse Lammert: too much gain? So there are people on harmony central who lies, they claims that they can play blues with this pedal...

Kazrog: I agree, it sounds similar to sansamp´s character... which I really like... which "black metal" pedal are you talking about? Or it was only joke? :)

I don´t need universal pedal, just one that delivers nice "rammstein"/industrial (but still "rich", not "thin") style distortion...

ahjteam: they claims that there is built-in cab simulator, so I´m afraid that it is the same crappy situation like with sansamp psa-1 (cab simulation is crappy and cannot be bypassed so direct sounds too harsh, with impulses sounds too dark and "wet"). Damn I wish I could try it, but there is no dealer here.

looks like a cool pedal. and sounds good for what it does.

The thing that bothers me of late, is the way things are advertised. Seems like manufacturers goal is to trick newbs into buying there shit to solve there noobish problems, but really they scam people who are stupid into wasting money

(not calling the op stupid, he seems to be going about acquiring gear in a intellectual manner, this seems like the right product for him, its the " Designed specifically for heavy and drop-tuned players. Where your old pedals quit or couldn't keep up, the Du Hast will take over and deliver searing crunch, screaming distortion, and thick bottomed rhythm." that gets to me. most products on the market are like this now)

I want this pedal for my home studio only, not for gigs etc. so I need something which will sound good and interesting and which cannot be replaced by any virtual amp simulation... this sound is very good for direct recording, isn´t it?

I have one. It sucks big time.

Very (poor) solid state sounding, sterile,... didn't like anything about it. I don't even dare to resell it secondhand because it is so bad. Trust me, that youtube clip seems decent, but hooked up to my amps (H&K Warp 7, H&K Attax 200, Engl Screamer, Peavey 6505) it is literally shit. And I've obviously spent some time tweaking it. AMT Du Hast just spells DISAPPOINTMENT all over IMHO.
