I think it's awesome that you said "ya'll". You would fit right in with us here in Dallas, Texas!

My name is Victoria and as you can see I live in the DFW area of Texas. (DFW meaning Dallas and Fort Worth). I'm a webmistress for a custom motorcycle co. called American IronHorse for now....my real career is I'm a 3-D modeler/animator for aerospace, flight training and simulation...just trying to get back into it.

My "current" top 5 favorites are these:

1. Opeth
2. Midnight Syndicate
3. Nox Arcana
4. Mercyful Fate/King Diamond
5. Avantasia...(that would be Tobias Sammat's side project)

The thing is though, I don't really have "favorites". I love all music.:headbang:

It's a pretty cool job. I get to look at really cool bikes!

The link to our current site is American IronHorse Custom Motorcycles

Warning...it's a Flash site and if you do not have a fast connection, it could take a while for the pages to load....

Now, it's not exactly what I would have chosen for design, but when the vice president of design tells you how he wants it to look, you do as he wishes! HAHA...personally, I would have made it more interactive and a bit "cooler".

I can't believe you have so many CD's.....and vinyls! Wow...I can't imagine where you keep them all! You must have a room dedicated to storing them!

I don't know if you've ever heard of the following bands/artists before, but here's a few you may want to check out.

Chastisement

Here is a friend of mine if you like blues/rock...Lance Lopez

And I know...shameless sortof "self promotion"...here is my husband's band. It's not really heavy, but they are a really talented group of guys...WAJA

more like it sounds more rockNroll style...ur hubby is the vocalist?
the mixture of the metal sound of the guitars is more common these days to mix it with more rock-heavy (sounds like the guitarists have a small influence from Pantera:)

about ur vice president i could say ITS A WORLDWIDE THING
u know u can do better, u r aware of the bad things he want and he doesnt really understand what u mean but still its his way :) so the artists gets "fucked"
as for the the bikes...he didnt let u have one of them for ur work? :)

My husband is the bass player.....the one with the bald head and really long goatee. He was in a thrash metal band when I met him 11 years ago...and he's gone through almost every genre since then! HAHA!

Yeah, I'd say more rock than metal in the vocals for sure. They stayed a 3 piece after they had to fire their last singer. At first, I was apprehensive about the vocals...thought the vocals needed to be stronger, but they seem to be gaining a lot more popularity since the other singer left, so who am I to say anything. I figure whatever makes him happy makes me happy. The singer is the guitar player also. His guitar hero is Steve Morse and he's heavily influenced by John Petrucci of Dream Theater. My husband and the singer/guitarist both knew Darrell...so I can understand the slight Pantera influence there!

I WISH they'd give me a bike, but no such luck...not at $38,000 dollars a pop anyway! HA! It doesn't matter though...they wanted to keep it "corporate" so we kept it "corporate" and I'm leaving soon enough (hopefully) anyway. Back to what I love to do....3D!! :headbang: And yes...artists DO always get fucked. I can't understand why, but people seem to think it's so easy and all you do is "play" all day.

id love to get my hands on that "Texas Chopper"
or the "OutLaw"
did u do all the artwork in the webpage? if u did, its VERY impressive i must say:)
about hubbys band at first i had a strage feeling about the vocals as well..something shouldve sounded a lil bit more powerfull but its something u get used to listen, guess when the common turns to uncommon it works:)
( as in the mixture of the clean vocals with the heavy guitars and mostly heavy style of beat)
did u get to listen to our new published song at myspace yet?
haha in case u forgot u made some promotion for hubby, now im sending u and hubby to checkout our music at www.myspace.com/eternalgray
and tell me what u think

if ure good in 3d why not try to look in PIXAR's webpage.. i think they r looking for 3D designers i thinbk u should follow something u really r into
