An album so nice, we must talk about it twice.

I know we have been down this road before, but, I have to revisit this album after I have had a chance to spin it at least 1000 times.

THE FULLNESS OF TIME - REDEMPTION............

Oh My God! This think just gets better and better with every spin. I get something new out of it every time. Let's hope for a speedy return to Prog Power.

Side note..............

Whats with this " Beyond Twilight " band and this Section X album. :OMG:

What a suprise.

Sorry for duplicating the Redmption thread. I just felt that the album waranted it. :worship:

From your lips to Glenn's ears! :)

Thanks for the kind words -- I really appreciate it.

By the way, the newly-revamped search function is still a little dicey. This threads didn't come up when I did my routine search to make sure nobody hates us. :)

The new Redemption album is one of the best of 2005 IMO. I'd love to see these guys make a return to ProgPower next year! If they don't, it's not because their music isn't good enough!!!!!

I really love the new Redemption Cd, Ray sounds great on vocals. Hopefully they will get to play next year. One side note, I'm not too found of the production, mainly the guitar sound but oh well. The playing ia amazing, some shades of When Dream and Day Unite, which I really love.

I agree with your sentiments 100%. Ray sounds fine but the guitar and drums sound muddy. The songs are still strong and it is a fantastic disc otherwise, but I thought the first Redemption also had production issues as well, though mostly with the vocals.

You also think that Michael Romeo's sound is "tinny" and Wolf Hoffman's is "godly". Clearly your opinion can not be taken seriously.:D

Ha ha ha believe it or not....... I am far from alone in that belief. "Tinny" is an understatement though. Romeo is an awesome player, but it sounds like he has his Sears brand amp playing in a closet with a mic outside the door. Wolf's sound is alive and well in Jorn Vigo Lofstat. Though JV doesn't claim Wolf as an inspiration, one of the reasons I like JV so much is because his tone is very close to Wolf's.
I realize you were just fucking with me Grod, but you can't poke at Wolf without me making some sort of reprimand. :err: The same goes with Jorn Viggo now. The guy is like the jazz version of Wolf !! He is incredible.

I would like to hear him push himself a little more. His EC performance, in regard to his leads, didn't strike me as "inspired".

I really need to go back and listen to this disc. Maybe if I revisit it, with renewed expectations, I'll have a different take on it.
