So. A few questions for you.
Should each poll have a time limit, say, 72 hours?
Make the timeout for a week, which is when the voting round should end.
Should there be a seperate round for each album, or should each round just be a mixture?
Seperate round per album, then combine the remaining song from each album for an ultimate survivor.
Should 1 song be killed off from each poll, or more than one?
Only one.
Should Damnation be included, considering many people won't have heard it yet? (Including me)
No, but by the time we go through all the albums cronologically, Damnation will already have been released worldwide (I think...).

I really think you should do it in reverse chronological order, with DELIVERANCE first since most people have probably heard that album. It also has the fewest choices, so it will be an ideal way to "test" how well this whole thing works... Just my opinion, of course...

Well, to do it in reverse-chronological order would be a little strange, since we'd just have to jump forward several years from orchid to Damnation. Also, if the bonus tracks aren't gonna be included, then Morningrise has the fewest number of tracks.John Gargo said:

Okly dokly, here's the plan.
The first poll will be Orchid. The idea will be, to vote out your LEAST favourite song from this album. The poll will have a 72 hour time-limit (if each poll lasts TOO long, people may lose interest). Once that poll closes, a Morningrise poll Round 1 will be made (I'd do a poll-per-day but overlapping the polls may get slightly confusing), and so on, chronologically through the albums. No bonus tracks.
I'm hoping to add Damnation, but I'll wait and see whether enough people have heard it by that time.
Once the first round is over, I'll count up which song got the most votes from each poll, and will remove them from the tournament. Then I'll do the same over again for Round 2, with the remaining songs. Then, when a last song remains from each album, they will be put into an Ultimate Survivor finale thing. I might drop them, one by one, from that poll as well, but I'm not entirely sure yet.
This is the way I'm planning to do it, unless anyone suggests a good improvement within the next 24 hours. Anywho, expect Orchid Round 1 tomorrow.
