You will be eating crow my friend!!!!
Thraxx let me go ahead and apologize in advance for the ass-whoopin' my Lions will be putting on you Sunday. I'm always confident for the first few weeks until we're mathematically eliminated from the playoffs by week 8, so let me have my short time of happiness:p

Well we start with a win at home with a very hard 1st half, let's see what happens next sunday!!!! sould be a great game against the Patriots
good luck T man, i know my Chargers will need some too!!!

after watching our pre season games in Baltimore,,,i'm not sure WHAT to expect. What I would LOVE to see is a good smacking of OCHO CINCO, and not allowing him the opportunity to get a TD.

Then see if this "retooled" offense of ours can both pass and rush. :)

GO RAVENS !!!

That was a quality gut check win for The Chargers!! Very impressive... I hope they've gotten that out of their system now as they head up here this week.

Report: Patriots accused of spying on Jets' signals during game Sunday
10 minutes ago

NEW YORK (AP) — The NFL is looking into claims a New England Patriots employee was videotaping signals by Jets coaches on New York's sideline during the season opener.

The investigation was first reported by ESPN.com, which said that NFL security confiscated a video camera and tape from a Patriots employee during New England's 38-14 victory Sunday. The employee was accused of aiming his camera at the Jets' defensive coaches, who were sending signals out to the players, sources told the website.

"The rule is that no video recording devices of any kind are permitted to be in use in the coaches' booth, on the field, or in the locker room during the game," the league said in a statement from spokesman Greg Aiello. "Clubs have specifically been reminded in the past that the videotaping of an opponent's offensive or defensive signals on the sidelines is prohibited.

"We are looking into whether the Patriots violated this rule."

The story was first reported on the website of Jets Confidential, which said the Jets chief of security alerted NFL security about the issue during the game.

"With anything along those lines, those are all league-related matters, and anything that deals with an issue like this or anything on a team-by-team basis, those all go to the league," coach Eric Mangini said in his news conference Monday.

When asked if the Jets had in fact notified the league, he said: "It's all a league matter."

Patriots spokesman Stacey James declined comment. New England cornerback Ellis Hobbs said he was unaware of the controversy, and unwilling to believe his team had cheated.

"We put too many hours in as individuals and a team to have to go out and cheat," he said. "If it's true, obviously, we're in the wrong. But I'm standing behind my team, my coaches. I don't think we do that stuff."

Last November, the Green Bay Packers had an issue with a man wearing a Patriots staff credential and carrying a video camera on the sidelines at Lambeau Field.

Teams are allowed to have a limited number of their own videographers on the sideline during the game, but they must have a credential that authorizes them to shoot video, and wear a yellow vest. But Packers spokesman Jeff Blumb said the person in question didn't have the right credential and wasn't wearing a yellow vest, so Packers security asked him to put away the camera.

No Thraxx bro...That crow's all yours...Have a good meal:kickass:

This little report here doesn't surprise you...Does it?? Belichick has done this before and either Kraft buys off who he needs to, or has them killed or something....Who knows??

I'm sure they violated this rule!! And would like to see them get the maximum punishment (Which I think is taking a 1st round draft pick from them) It's absolutely foolish to try and cheat...Especially with a team like this years!!! The time to cheat would've been the miserable 80's seasons....

Oh well....Hey, at least Russell is now "Officially" a Raider.... Maybe the turn around can begin.

Have you never considered using a spherical ball instead of an eliptical one and maybe ruling it illegal to touch the ball with your hands? Except, maybe the Goalkeeper? Then the rest of the guys could just pass it around and kick it into a net using only their feet (and occasionally their heads)..?

Hey we could even call teams things like "Manchester United" or "Liverpool FC"

or to put it another way:

I am British, what is this weird game you call "football"?!

It has potential to be the "Game of the Year" I just hope it lives up to the hype... You know how more often than not these games are never as great as they're built up to be.

The Pats did look good...But it was against a team they should beat.....The Chargers are a different story..The Pats can very easily lose this game... This will be a fight to the finish!!

IMO Sunday night it will be the game of the week can't wait i sure hope it goes down to the end, you're Pats looked awesome sunday
