Andy's POD tone Question?

Just curious what amp model you used and were the guitars panned as 4 tracks of mono?
care to share the settings or plugins used? C4, Eq Compression? The guitar tracks sound stellar as usual.

As usual; it's 10% gear, and 90% how you use it. But you're right, it sounds pretty good for a POD.

That would be the Treadplate Dual model, probably using the patch that Andy posted a while back.

I also would like to know what was done processing-wise, since when I played around with the patch, it sounded rather fuzzy and flat, but like TheStoryteller said, it's all in how you use it.

Yeah, it's probably processed a bit, since i got the same flat response when i tried it... sounded a bit dull, but it played pretty smooth though...

If im right they used a EMG's loaded Jackson guitar on the recording?

To get rid of that fizz use a low-pass at around 10kHz.

Yeah; PODs don't fizz more than amps. It's all about settings and post-effects. Just as /w a real amp.
