Hmm, I don´t have a dog now, but I´m definitely gonna get one once I´ve got room for it!
My parents started out with an (I don´t really know if this is the correct english name for it) English Springer Spaniel, which is normally intended to use for hunting, but this one got extremely frightened every new years eve so, no brave hunting dog there... It lived for 8 years, in the end it was half blind and half deaf, sometimes guests got all the way into the livingroom before it started barking....
Damn, I´m getting sentimental, I grew up with that dog!
Anywho, my older brother bought a Kleiner Münsterländer (don´t know what it is in english either).
The poor dog is fucked up now and thinks that whenever someone leaves the house it´s forever, it lived with my brother and his girlfriend for a year or so, then with my brother at my parents´, then with my brothers ex for 6 months, and then again with my parents, and it´s gonna stay there for the rest of its life, damn it!
After the first dog died, my parents swore that they were never gonna get another one, but I can tell that they can´t be without a dog now, especially since all us kids have moved out.
You may find it strange that I´m writing about the last dog, but I lived at home for 3 years with this dog, so I´ve got some special feelings about it!
