Heaven and Hell, in my opinion one of the best classics .... closed followed by Maiden and VH... In fact ALL are pretty "classic" albums, except for Whitesnake, never liked them very much...

1975 or 1980? Someone has a time disturbance

The one who will rule ever is the masterpiece of metal:

"Heaven And Hell"

With JP, IM, Motorhead and Saxon closing in. Whitesnake and Scorpions a bit behind.

Had to go with Heaven and Hell, that was a hard choice though. Funny to see Unmasked on the list. I hated that album when it first came out but I like it now for what it is, some good pop song on there.

Back In Black by far I used to have my dad help me replace the needles on my
lp player cause i played that record so much! Hell's Bells was the staple song in the roller rink
I hung out when I was real young! I still love that album today!!

You just posted about a ROLLER RINK... now that's old school!!!!!!!! :)
I still remember playing Asteroids in our local rink when I was a kid.

I have to stay true to my boyz... The Scorpions Animal Magnatism. However 1980 was a great year.... 16 and loving all the new metal albums coming out. Iron Maiden, Sabbath, AC/DC.... I remember the first time I played Back in Black and my dad looked at the album cover and said "You're listening to fairy boys making music?" He told me that AC/DC was a term used in the Navy for the "gay" boys. I just thought it was regarding the electrical currents... who cared it was all about the music.

We use it here for bisexuals

And don't forget the TV evangelist meaning After Christ/Devil's Coming :hypno:

Poor Angus, so misunderstood...

Besides Unmasked, Back in Black was the only other one of those albums I really knew at the ripe old age of 12. I discovered WACF a couple years later. Knowing what I know now, I would rate them like this:

1 - Heaven and Hell
2 - Women and Children First
3 - Animal Magnetism
4 - Iron Maiden
5 - Back in Black

I gotta chime in on this one and say, guess what?!?! WOMEN AND CHILDREN FIRST!!!!!!!!! Looks like I'm the only vote for this masterpiece so far, but thanks to Soundmaster for at least including it in the poll!!!!!!!!!!

Love
Ted
